My name is drux, and I am an aspiring composer working towards creating music for various purposes, including video game music and background music for streamers.

My first adventure into music production was 2012. My roommate at the time in my college dorm had similar interests, and with him we started creating Nujabes inspired tracks using free plug-ins, an acoustic guitar, and piano keyboard. From there, I started a J-rock inspired band with some friends and have improved my composition skills through that for years.

Some composers I draw inspiration for video game music from are Revo of Sound Horizon (Bravely Default), Hiroyuki Sawano (Kill La Kill, Xenoblade Chronicles X) Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenoblade Chronicles 1 & 2) and more recently, Yu-Peng Chen (Genshin Impact).

I'm always trying to expand and experiment with the music I make too! Currently I'm dabbling in making chill lo-fi type tracks and future bass (you can see some examples in the Samples section).

I am currently not open for commissions. However, I eventually plan to do so! Until then, I hope you enjoy the samples that I put out!
